Dayz 1.03 Backpack Slots
Maybe Slots will become smaller, and most items will take more than 1 slot (like: pistol mag 3 slots, rifle mag 6 slots, bean can 5 slots, matches 1 slot.) Of course the number of slots for containers would change accordingly, a 24-slot backpack in the mod would become a 120-slot backpack in SA (or so). The Assault Backpack is a large-sized backpack in DayZ Standalone. It is the standard issue of the Chernarussian Defence Forces. While the black and green variants were added in 0.60, the TTsKO camo variant did not get added to the game until 0.61. The Assault Backpack in game seems to be loosely based off the dutch army 35L backpack. The Field Backpack is a backpack in DayZ Standalone. It has the highest capacity out of all of the backpacks available in the game. This backpack was added to the game in the 0.61 update. Previous to Beta, the Field Backpack was called the ALICE backpack. The Field Backpack, originally referring to the US issued ALICE Large Rucksack, is likely based upon the SSO Sposn 45L Army Patrol Backpack.
I am a n00b so I apologize in advance if this is a dumb question.
I am trying to increase the backpack size on my own private Open Dayz server. I have edited the bags.hpp file and increased the Coyote backpack size as shown below. Then I repacked the PBO file and put it on the server and client, restarted the server and connected. The bag size does not change...it is still limited to 24 slots. I assume I need to make another change somewhere else but, after hours of searching, I am having no luck finding out where.
Can anyone help?
